• InfoMagic, Inc. One of the major CD-ROM Vendors. They carry a wide variety of material on CD. Relevant here would include:

  • Linux (6+ CDs) distribution, released approximately quarterly

  • TeX (2 disks) including CTAN (Comprehensive TeX Archive Network)

  • Mother of all Perl (2 disks) of Perl stuff

  • FreeBSD

  • Mootif The X-Windows Motif development toolkit for sundry IA-32 systems including Linux

• Pacific HiTech Home Page

  PHT was a "CD-ROM house" similar to Walnut Creek and InfoMagic. Particularly notable for producing TurboLinux.

  They appear to have moved from "producing and selling" to just producing; many of their products are being sold through Walnut Creek.
