Once used as database/application servers at work, this is a 2U rackmount server with:
Dual Intel Xeon CPUs @ 3.6GHz
8GB of RAM, DDR2 400 ECC, expandable to 16GB (unlikely!)
A dozen cooling fans!!!
ATI Radeon graphics RV100 QY aka 7000/VE
Four Gigabit Ethernet ports
Two additional "management" Ethernet ports
Adaptec ServeRAID dual channel Ultra320-SCSI
This uses the ips Linux driver
Slots for 6 3.5" U320-SCSI drives
CD-RW/DVD drive
Soon to be mounted in a LackRack
Alas, dead. I suspect one or more disk drive died; when booting up, it gets into a boot loop, never resolving to get around to booting a kernel and starting up init.
