A program with fairly similar functionality to CBB, written in C++, with a utility or two written in Perl.
It doesn't speak QIF (Quicken Interchange Format), but does store data in text files. Conversion utilities could probably be written to turn its data files into QIF and vice versa.
Another checkbook management program that runs under X, using the "XForm" application builder utilities.
Moneydance - something of a "Quicken"/"GnuCash" clone written in Java. It is proprietary software sold under a traditional sort of EULA. It supports dynamically loaded extensions; perhaps the most interesting is an interface allowing you to run Python scripts within Moneydance.

Members of GTALUG collected together information as to which web browsers that run on Linux are supported by which banks and related financial institutions.
And the list has grown from a treatment of Canadian institutions to something well beyond... It is getting a bit dated, as it omits Google Chrome.
moneyplex 2001 fur Windows und Linux
This is a (go figure!) German accounting software package that apparently runs on Windows und Linux, and seems to have (based on my feeble skills reading German) support for importing data from some of the German online banking systems.
It does not appear free software, with pricing starting around 60 EUR.
